This German managed
wooden/stone house is built in the past colonial style.
It is
approx. 15 yards to the sea and the lovely Sandy Beach and
Beach Bar, but there are other beaches nearby.
Surrounding the property
is a large veranda and a tropical garden for all
guests to use.
The
accommodation
House
Cleverdale can be rented as:
a 5 bedroom guesthouse
which features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (hot & cold water)
a spacious kitchen, living/dining room. The complete 5 bedroom
house can hold up to 13 persons.
or
a 3 bedroom
guesthouse
with living/dining room, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitcehn,
living/dining room
can hold up to 8 persons.
or
3 x individual
guesthouse rooms
with own or shared bathrooms and shared living/kitchen facilities.
or
2 x studio apartments
with own bathroom and kitchenette. The studio apartments are
attached to the main guesthouse but have their own side entrance.
Each studio apartment can hold up to 2 to 3 persons. Or studio
rooms with own ensuite- bathroom but no use of kitchen just
a fridge available.
All of the above studios
and rooms have a safe box free of charge. Fresh sheets, towels
and room service is provided at least twice per week or on
request.

Living/Dining room
All guesthouse rooms
are moderately furnished, have burglar proof wrought iron
bars in the bedroom, mosquito screens on the windows, fans
(air-conditioning) and some bedrooms have their own wash basins.
Two rooms or both studio apartments
can be air-conditioned but only on request at an additional
payment of
US$5 per room per night.

The main guesthouse
and each studio has shared telephone and SAT TV is in the
main house and separate in each studio as well as stereo radio
incl.CD player and tape recorder. If you bring your own computer
you can buy internet cards (5 hours for US$5) and you can
have internet access through the phone lines as local calls
are free of charge but it is limited as all guests have only
one phone line.
Location details and things
to do
The
centre of St.Lawrence Gap (main south coast tourist area)
is about 5 walking minutes away. In St. Lawrence Gap you
will find hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, banks
and different shops.
In surrounding supermarkets you have a varied choice.
A Laundromat is only 100 meter away.
Golf,
Squash, Tennis, Fitness centre
and most water sports like diving and Jet
Ski's are easy accessible.
The bus stop is about 50 yards/metres away.
There are buses, mini-buses and route-taxis going to the
capital Bridgetown (aprox. 15 mins) and to other parts of
the island until midnight. The bus fare is 1.50 BDS$.
Airport transfer to accommodation is about
20 minutes
Our guests, who book the transfer at confirmation of accommodation, would
be picked up and will be taken to their accommodation through
us. Please look for a sign "Karibik B'dos Tours Inc." at
the airport.
The transfer one way, is US$14.00 for 1 - 2 Persons and
is similar to the taxi rate.
We offer English
speaking Island tours and different activities on the island.
If you like, we can help you to organize trips to other
Caribbean islands via plane or ship and / or will give you
a lot of information about those islands and Barbados.
