Barbados
Beaches Guide
All
beaches in Barbados are open to the public so you have 70
miles of golden sands to explore! The Barbados coastline provides
a variety of choice - from the calm water of the West Coast
to the surfer's paradise on the East Coast.
We
have listed the most popular beaches, starting from Speightstown
and moving down the coast. Generally speaking the waters are
calmest on the West Coast and get gradually rougher as you
go further South and then East. The seas are calmer in the
High Season.
It
is not advisable to swim on the East Coast.
See you down at the beach!
WEST
COAST beaches Barbados
Speightstown
- head towards Mango's Restaurant and enjoy.
Mullins
Beach - Park on the main road and either picnic at
the southern end of the beach or buy your refreshments from
Mullin's Restaurant. Great visibility for snorkelling and
plenty to see.
Church
Point - park outside the Colony Club Hotel and spend
a leisurely day swimming or snooze under shady trees. Refreshments
available at the Colony Club's beach bar terrace.

Holetown
- If you enjoy water-sports then spend a few hours at this
action packed spot. Plenty of places to enjoy a drink or something
to eat. Have a scuba dive at West Side Scuba or swim in the
pool at Baku Beach club. (book through us and get a discount!)
Cheffette short stroll past Baku.
Paynes
Bay - Parking areas close to the Coach House - another
great spot for water-sports and refreshments. (Try Bombas
Beach bar) Walk a little further up towards Sandy Lane and
you may find yourselves the only ones on the beach (one of
our favourites for peace and qquiet so don't tell everyone!)

Fitts
Village - Park by the esplanade and enjoy snorkelling
or visit the Malibu Visitor's Centre which is just a short
walk away (book your day pass or tour through us!) Or have
your lunch and drinks at II Tempio.
