you're sitting out on the deck watching yet another beautiful
sunset, and sipping a cool rum punch, you realise just how
simple and wonderful life really is. We're already planning
our trip out next year!"

"I tried
Scuba diving for the first time in Barbados and it wont't
be my last! While out in the sea we were swimming with turtles
- it was amazing! Shoestring Barbados got me a great deal
and the representatives really looked after me and made sure
I had a fantastic vacation. Thanks guys!

learned to scuba dive and water ski on the West Coast. We
felt as though we'd made new friends, most of them Bajan,
rather than as if we were just tourists passing through."

were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful the
Bajan's we met were, and really enjoyed our stay. We were
a little worried incase it would be too hot for us but there
is a constant sea breeze and most places have air conditioning,
including our apartment which operated using tokens - we only
paid for what we used. The island has a lot to offer in all
respects and we only wish we could have stayed longer."

and Rebecca from the UK actually came out with Airtours
but found our rates were more competitive for car hire, trips
etc. (we were booking agents at that time)Here they are returning
their mini moke after a busy and memorable trip with their
two children, staying at Homar Rentals. One of their favourite
nights out was at Oistins on a Friday where in addition to
a great fish fry they were able to dance the night away until
2am!!(children included!)

and Graham Sully enjoyed their 30th wedding anniversary
during a three week trip to Barbados in July 01 and stayed
for a week at Mystic Rose Cottage before heading to the South
Coast. Both are active and enthusiastic PE teachers from Nottingham
and a vacation after the busy Summer term was just what the
doctor ordered
 Clive,
a fire-fighter from the UK, spent time with his father in
St George but made the most of his vacation and learnt to
dive with West Side Scuba. Shoestring offer great dive packages!
He also took his bike and rode many miles across the island
exploring.
