Please
contact
us to let you know where you are staying,
or thinking of staying in Barbados, and we will give
you helpful tips and advice where possible. Many of your
own local travel agents won't have been to Barbados themselves
and it's easier to have an idea of the accommodation and
surrounding area before you go. When planning your Barbados
vacation think about what you want from it and therefore
the best place on the island to stay - even if you are
hiring a car and plan to travel around. The following brief
outline will give you an idea of the different areas of
the island.
The
South Coast

The
South Coast is the liveliest area, densely populated with
hotels, bars and restaurants. We have a wide variety of
accommodation in this area suitable for all your vacation
needs. This area especially suits groups or friends, students
and those willing and still able to party the night away!We can find you accommodation in or within walking distance
of The Gap (St Lawrence Gap)- 'the' place to party (see
Entertainment)
Less expensive accommodation is generally
found on the South Coast. Unless you stay in a hotel you
will not usually have pool access - but we do have a few
to offer. If you are coming to windsurf then you will prefer
to stay in the Silver Sands area of the South Coast and
we have plenty of accommodation to offer that you wont find
anywhere else! If you are travelling as a family and require
self-catering then we would probably advise you to stay
on the West Coast. There is no accommodation in Bridgetown itself.

The West Coast

The
West Coast holds the island's top golf courses and priciest
hotels, and privately owned homes exchange hands for exorbitant
prices. If you still wish to find nightlife, without having
to travel to the South Coast, then stay in or near to Holetown
or Paynes Bay.
Many of our properties are in these areas and we have a
wide variety of 1 bedroom apartments, and 2 or 3 bedroom
villas and will also recommend several excellent hotels.
Staying in Sunset Crest you have free access to the Baku
Beach Club with pool, restaurants and nightclub, or the
Europa Complex for pool, bar, restaurant and nightlife.
There is excellent shopping and you won't need to hire a
car unless you want to. This is an extremely safe area of
the island - another reason for staying here with your family!
Alternatively you could stay further up the coast where
there are some lovely beaches and great accommodation -
but you would have to drive or catch a bus if you wish to
find much by the way of evening entertainment.

The
East Coast

The
East Coast for many is the most beautiful, being the least
explored and commercialised. The coastline is superb although
the sea is roughest here, making swimming difficult if not
impossible. Surfers would choose accommodation here, as
well as those looking for peace and tranquility. It's a
photographers paradise!

The North of the Island

The North of the island is the most rugged and least visited. It is an area worth exploring.
Our advice would be to stay on the West or South Coast and hire a car for a day or two to explore this area. Or go on an Island Tour- see our listings!
